PatchRail is now a fully open-source project
v0.2.0 is out and PatchRail is now 100% open source under Apache-2.0. The paid desk services and the paid field guide are gone: all 31 failure classes are free at /fix, and the CLI — pipx install patchrail — is the whole product. Source lives at github.com/patchrail/patchrail. If it saves you a red-build morning, star the repo; if a log stumps it, open an issue.

The field guide ships, and PatchRail lands on PyPI
CI Failure Triage Patterns, a field guide to the failure signatures behind red builds, ships as a paid PDF, and the PatchRail CLI lands on PyPI. The guide's chapters have since been published free as the /fix failure guides — see the 2026-07-07 entry.

PatchRail goes public
Maastricht, Sunday. PatchRail is live at getpatchrail.com — the first cut of the project, since refocused entirely on open-source CI failure triage (see the 2026-07-07 entry). If you find a bug, security@getpatchrail.com.
